Fernando Poe Jr. Memorial Award for Excellence is an annual event of prestigious awards body created by the Metro Manila Film Festival in honor of the King of Philippine movies Fernando Poe Jr.. Star Cinema’s One More Try was the first one to receive the lifetime achievement award in 2012. Since then it has been awarding prestigious films that deserves the honors.
