FEMEN (Ukrainian: Фемен) is an exhibitionist feminist protest group founded in Ukraine in 2008. The group is now based in Paris. The organization became internationally known for organizing controversial topless protests against sex tourism religious institutions sexism and other social national and international topics. In October 2013 FEMEN had its largest membership in France (30 local activists in January 2013).
