Farsan (Gujarati: ફરસાણ Marathi:फरसाण) is a collective term used for a type of snacks in Maharashtrian cuisine and Gujarati cuisine from the Indian state of Maharashtra and Gujarat.Some are fried items which are then dried and can be stored others are fresh or steamed.Some popular examples are: Shev Ganthiya Farsan Mixture Dhokla Khandvi Ragda (garnished fried potato patties) Batata vada Patra (colocasia leaves rolled up with a spiced gram flour batter and steamed and garnished like dhoklas) Samosa↑
