Farrukh Amonatov (born April 13 1978) is the only chess grandmaster in Tajikistan. He is also the winner of many international tournaments. Despite living and training in Moscow Russia since (champion of Moscow 2003) Amonatov represents Tajikistan in international tournaments.In 2007 Amonatov qualified for the Superfinal of the Russian Chess Championship and finished 10th.
