Evan Bates (born February 23 1989) is an American ice dancer. With partner Madison Chock he is the 2013 Four Continents bronze medalist and 2013 U.S. national silver medalist. He represented the United States at the 2014 Winter Olympics.With former partner Emily Samuelson Bates is the 2009 Four Continents bronze medalist the 2008 World Junior champion and the 2009 U.S. national silver medalist. He was a member of the 2010 U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team.
