An Ethiopian Canadian is a Canadian citizen of Ethiopian descent or an Ethiopia-born person who resides in Canada. According to the 2011 National Household Survey 30810 people reported Ethiopian ancestry. Of those 24535 were born in Ethiopia and 6595 were recent immigrants.
