Eta Apodis (η Aps η Apodis) is a star in the southern circumpolar constellation Apus. Based upon parallax measurements from the Hipparcos mission it is approximately 138 light-years (42 parsecs) from Earth. With an apparent visual magnitude of +4.9 it can be viewed with the naked eye from the southern hemisphere.This star has about 1.77 times the mass of the Sun and 2.13 times the Sun’s radius.
