Esophoria is characterised by inward deviation of the eye usually due to extra-ocular muscle imbalance.Causes include:refractive errorsdivergence insufficiencyconvergence excess these can be due to nerve muscle congenital or mechanical anomalies.Unlike esotropia fusion is possible and therefore diplopia is uncommon.
