Ergocalciferol is a provitamin form of vitamin D also called vitamin D2. In isolated manufactured formats it is marketed under various names including Deltalin (Eli Lilly and Company) Drisdol (Sanofi-Synthelabo) and Calcidol (Patrin Pharma).
