The Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded in 2001 by Steve Trent and Juliette Williams that promotes the non-violent resolution of human rights abuses and related environmental issues in the Global South. It describes itself as “a UK-based non-profit organisation working internationally to protect the environment and human rights.”EJF’s core tenet is set out in the Mission Statement on its website.
