The Endeavour Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race held annually in mid February at Tampa Bay Downs racetrack in Tampa Florida. Raced on turf over a distance of 1 1/16 miles (8.5 furlongs) it is open to fillies and Mares aged four and older.Inaugurated in 2000 at a distance of 1⅛ miles (9 furlongs) in 2004 the race was modified to its present 11/16 miles.Known for a time as the Endeavour Stakes in 2008 it went back to using the Breeders’ Cup designation.
