Emanuel Barbara OFM Cap (born 27 October 1949) is a Maltese bishop who serves as the Bishop of Malindi and the Apostolic Administrator of Mombasa in Kenya.Barbara was born in Gzira Malta on 27 October 1949. He joined the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin and took his solemn profession on 26 September 1966. In 1973 he was ordained to the diaconate and a year later on July 20 he was ordained as a priest. Until 2008 he served as a priest in the Diocese of Malindi.
