Elvira Mendes sometimes called Geloria Menéndez (died 2 December 1022) was Queen of León (1008–1022).She was one of the daughters of count Menendo González the First Count of Portugal and co-regent of León descended from the highest nobility of Portugal and Galicia. Mendes married King Alfonso V of León and was the mother of King Bermudo III of León and Queen Sancha of León.
