Ellei Johndro (Shadowscene) is an American born photographer musician and artist. Born in Maine and establishing herself in Los Angeles she was the first female to document the hipster culture alongside the likes of The Cobrasnake and Merlin Bronques. When The Los Angeles Times did a Sunday feature they referenced her as the new breed of club chronicler comparing her to the New York nightlife photographers of the 1960s.
