Sir Eldon Wylie Griffiths (born 25 May 1925) is a former British Conservative politician and journalist.Griffiths was educated at Ashton Grammar School Emmanuel College Cambridge and Yale University. He worked in the Conservative Research Department and became a journalist and farmer. He was managing editor of Newsweek.Griffiths was elected for Bury St Edmunds at a 1964 by-election and represented that seat until he retired in 1992.
