Edwin Ekiring (born 22 December 1983) is a Ugandan badminton player nicknamed The Black Pearl. He is 1.83 metres (6 ft 0 in) tall and weighs 65 kilograms (143 lb).At the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne Australia Ekiring competed in the men’s singles as well as the mixed team event. In the singles he was defeated in the first round 17–21 17–21 by Sri Lankan Dinuka Karunaratne.
