Edward Vaughn Long (July 18 1908 – November 6 1972) was a United States Senator from Missouri and a member of the Democratic Party. He served in the United States Senate from 1960 until 1968. Born in rural Lincoln County Missouri near Whiteside he was educated at Culver-Stockton College and the University of Missouri.
