EBC-46 is a natural chemical currently being studied for the treatment of some types of cancer (mainly limited at this stage to non-metastasised solid tumours) in both animals and humans. The chemical is found in seed of the Blushwood Tree (Hylandia dockrillii) and several species from the Fontainea family found locally in the Atherton Tableland of Queensland Australia.
