Eastern Oromo (also known as Ittu Oromo or Qottu Oromo) is a dialect of the Oromo language. According to the Ethnologue map of Ethiopian languages it is spoken in the Mirab Hararghe Zone Misraq Hararghe Zone and northern Bale Zone of the Oromia Region of Ethiopia.According to Ethnologue a 1994 census reported 4530000 speakers of this dialect.
