Nearchos is an advanced Medium Distance Reconnaissance Unmanned Aerial Vehicle introduced in 1996 one of several UAVs developed by the Greek 3 Sigma (since 2002 EADS 3 Sigma) aerospace company in collaboration with Greek universities.The Nearchos is equipped with advanced electronics covering a variety of usesand it has been used itself as a research platform for a variety of projects.
