Established in 1965 the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry is a private non-profit organization whose stated purpose is to support the business community in Dubai and promote Dubai as an international business hub. As of 2014 the Chairman of the Dubai Chamber was Abdul Rahman Saif Al Ghurair. Hamad Buamim is the Chamber’s CEO and President.
