Dream Whip is a non-dairy (in its dry form) dessert topping that a cook makes at home with cold milk vanilla and an electric mixer. Walter Baker & Company began producing the first version of this product in the United States in 1957. Kraft Foods produced a variety of the product called Dream Whip Topping Mix in 1957.
