Douglas Doug Carter was a fictional character from the British soap opera Hollyoaks played by PJ Brennan. Brennan initially appeared as Doug in the programme’s online spin-off series Hollyoaks: Freshers before his debut in the main show on 13 September 2010. He appeared in 5 episodes before returning on 13 January 2011 as a regular character.He was introduced as part of a new student group.
