Douglas Doug Brown (30 August 1923 – 17 June 2012) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy and Geelong in the Victorian Football League (VFL).Brown who kicked three goals on his league debut was a rover from Geelong District. He couldn’t play with Geelong in 1943 as they weren’t competing due to the war so he instead spent the season with Fitzroy. In 1944 Geelong returned to the league and he appeared in eight of the opening nine rounds of the season with them.
