María Dora Anahí Sánchez is a former Argentine Senator for Corrientes Province. She is a member of the Argentine Radical Civic Union (UCR) and has led the local party organization at Mercedes since 1999. Sánchez worked as a teacher in Mercedes Corrientes from 1975. She served as secretary to the municipal council of Mercedes between 1989 and 1991 before being elected as a councillor herself in 1991 for the UCR.
