Donggwoldo (literally Painting of Eastern Palaces) is a representative Korean painting of the early 19th century depicting the two royal palaces Changdeokgung and Changgyeonggung during the Joseon Dynasty. Donggwol is an alternative name of Changdeokgung located to the East of the main royal palace of the dynasty Gyeongbokgung.
