Dixie Commander (foaled 2007 in Kentucky) is an American Thoroughbred racehorse bred by Diamond A Racing Corp. The colt is out of the winning Go for Gin mare Gin Running whose dam is a half sister to 1997 American Horse of the Year Favorite Trick. He is sired by Dixie Union a great-grandson of Northern Dancer by his grandsire Dixieland Band. He is owned and trained by Steve Miyadi. In 2010 Dixie Commander won the Turf Paradise Derby.
