Dihydroorotase (EC 3.5.2.3 carbamoylaspartic dehydrase dihydroorotate hydrolase) is an enzyme which converts carbamoyl aspartic acid into 45-dihydroorotic acid. It forms a multifunctional enzyme with carbamoyl phosphate synthetase and aspartate transcarboymalase.
