Devin Townsend is a Canadian musician songwriter and record producer. As a solo artist he has produced written and released fourteen full-length studio albums one EP one live album and two demo compilations on his independent record label HevyDevy Records. Townsend is also the frontman producer and songwriter for the extreme metal band Strapping Young Lad which has released five studio albums one EP and two live releases on Century Media.
