The Deutsche Journalisten-Verband (DJV) or German Journalists Association is among the largest journalists’ organizations in Europe. The DJV has its headquarters in Berlin Germany and has about 38000 members. The chairman since 2003 has been the journalist Michael Konken deputy national chairman since 2007 Ulrike Kaiser. The federal executive of the organization is Kajo Dohring while from 1989 to 1998 Hermann Meyn was chairman of the association.
