Deparia acrostichoides (silvery glade fern or silvery spleenwort) is a common fern in stream bottoms throughout much of the eastern United States and eastern Asia. It often forms extensive colonies growing from creeping crowns. The indusia turn silvery when the sori are close to ripening hence the name.
