Denis Khismatullin (born 28 December 1984 in Neftekamsk) is a Russian chess grandmaster. Khismatullin lives in Ufa and studied at the Ufa Oil University. He is the first grandmaster from Bashkiria. He took part in the Chess World Cup 2011 but was eliminated in the first round by Mikhail Kobalia.Among Khismatullin’s accomplishments is a second place finish in the World U16 championship in 2000.
