The Democratic Union (Slovak: Demokratická únia) was a liberal party in Slovakia. It was founded in 1994 as a merger of the Alliance of Democrats and the Democratic Union of Slovakia that had split off from the ruling Movement for a Democratic Slovakia. Its leader was Eduard Kukan. In 1998 it joined the Slovak Democratic Coalition and in 2000 it merged into the Slovak Democratic and Christian Union.
