The Democratic Party (Tajik: Ҳизби демократии Тоҷикистон Hizbi Demokratii Tojikiston) is a political party in Tajikistan. The party received no seats in the last legislative elections 27 February and 13 March 2005 but percentages are not available. The party boycotted the 2006 Presidential election. The party was founded by Mahmadruzi Iskandarov but he was sentenced to 23 years in jail in 2005 so their current leader is Masud Sobirov.
