The Democratic Party (Chinese: 民主黨 ) is a centre-left pro-democracy liberal political party in Hong Kong. It was founded on 2 October 1994 as the merger of the two pro-democracy parties the United Democrats of Hong Kong and the Meeting Point. Since its creation it had been the pro-democracy flagship party in Hong Kong for a period of time.
