Democratic Center (identified electorally as Democratic Center – Strong Hand Big Heart) (Spanish: Centro Democrático – Mano firme corazón grande) is a political party in Colombia founded by businesswoman Marta Lucía Ramírez former Vice President Francisco Santos Calderón former Minister of the Interior Fabio Valencia Cossio and (notably) Álvaro Uribe former President of Colombia.The party is big tent coalition of individuals opposing current government negotiations with FARC the major left-wing anti-government paramilitary in the current Colombian armed conflict.
