Delta Pyxidis (Delta Pyx δ Pyxidis δ Pyx) is multiple star system in constellation of Pyxis with an apparent magnitude of +4.87. The primary component is a white A-type subgiant. It is approximately 226 light years from Earth.Delta Pyxidis is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 41.8 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 18800 and 31400 light years from the center of the Galaxy.
