De Loach Vineyards was started in 1975 by Cecil and Christine De Loach and was one of the first wineries established in the Russian River Valley Sonoma County California.The winery ran into financial difficulties in late 2001 due to over-expansion and poor market conditions. The winery’s peak production was 250000 cases. In May 2003 De Loach Vineyards filed bankruptcy. The Boisset family of Burgundy France purchased De Loach in November 2003.
