DD Saptagiri (దూరదర్శన్ సప్తగిరి) is a state owned TV channel telecasting from Doordarshan Kendra Hyderabad. Doordarshan Kendra Hyderabad was inaugurated by the then President of India Neelam Sanjiva Reddy on 23 October1977. The service has been extended to the entire state in a phased manner by installing Terrestrial Transmitters of different capacities ( HPTs LPTs VLPTs ) in different parts of the state.
