Dawna Friesen (born in Winnipeg Manitoba) is a Canadian television journalist and is the anchor and executive editor of Global National.A native of Winnipeg Manitoba Canada and graduate of Red River College Friesen has worked in journalism since 1985 working in Thunder Bay Ontario; Winnipeg Manitoba; Brandon Manitoba; Saskatoon Saskatchewan; and Vancouver British Columbia.Friesen reported and anchored for CBC Television in Vancouver and for CBC Newsworld.
