David Campbell Mulford (born June 1937) is a former United States Ambassador to India. He took office on January 23 2004 and left office in February 2009. He is currently Vice-Chairman International of Credit Suisse. In 2012 an Argentinean federal judge (Marcelo Martínez de Giorgi) put an international arrest order against him due to his avoidance of testifying in a trial for fraud to the Argentine state.Mulford was born in Rockford Illinois.
