Dr David Max Marsh MBE (born 1934) is a former amateur golfer who is better known as a former Chairman of Everton Football Club.Marsh was named captain of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews in 1990 having previously been president of the Lancashire and then English Unions between 1973 and 1975. He was the youngest captain of Southport and Ainsdale Golf Club in 1967.Marsh won the English Amateur in 1964 and 1970 and represented England on 75 occasions.
