David Chung (born January 14 1990) is a Korean-American amateur golfer. He was the number one ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in late 2010/early 2011.Chung was born in Fayetteville North Carolina to Christian and Elise Chung.In 2004 at age 14 Chung was the runner-up in the U.S. Junior Amateur. He also advanced to the semifinals of the U.S. Junior Amateur in 2005. He was the 2005 runner-up in the Western Junior.
