Dave Gillespie was an Australian rules footballer who played with Carlton in the Victorian Football League. After being severely injured in World War I he was repatriated to Australia. He later died of his wounds and was buried in Coburg Cemetery. His twin brother was Carlton premiership player Doug Gillespie.
