Danjong of Joseon (23 July 1441 – 24 December 1457 reigned 1452–1455) was the sixth king of the Joseon Dynasty. He was forced to abdicate by his uncle who became Sejo of Joseon and exiled to Yeongwol County. Where he was later murdered and his remains are buried.
