Daniel Thomas Barry (born December 30 1953) is an American engineer scientist and a retired NASA astronaut. He was a contestant on the CBS reality television program Survivor: Panama. He was at Singularity University from 2009-2012 where he was co-chair of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and the chair of the Faculty of Space and Physical Sciences. He is also a co-founder of 9th Sense Robotics a telepresence robotics company.
