Leucyl-cystinyl aminopeptidase also known as insulin regulated aminopeptidase (IRAP) is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the LNPEP gene.This gene encodes a zinc-dependent aminopeptidase (metalloexopeptidase) that cleaves vasopressin oxytocin lys-bradykinin met-enkephalin dynorphin A and other peptide hormones.
