Cyathea esmeraldensis is a species of tree fern native to the western Andes of Ecuador where it grows on the sides of rocky streambeds at an altitude of 500–1000 metres (1600–3300 ft). The specific epithet esmeraldensis refers to Esmeraldas Province.
