The Criminal Investigative Department (reporting name: CID) is a law enforcement agency of the GPS (Ghana Police Service). CID carries out investigations into terrorism (state terrorism) and computer crime crimes including murders and organized crime. CID also gives forensic science support. CID is headquartered in Greater Accra.
