The Crenshaw/LAX Line is a mass-transit project to construct a new 8.5-mile (13.7 km) light rail line through southwest Los Angeles. The line will run generally north-south and will connect the Crenshaw District and Leimert Park to Inglewood and LAX. The line will be a part of the Los Angeles County Metro Rail System. When completed it will run from Jefferson Park in the north to El Segundo in the south with a projected ridership of 16000.
